I have just finished this little rag doll annie she will be sitting away the next bear show!  I am loving this new size, two down and a lot still to go.  School holidays are about to finish they are back to school tomorrow and it has been a wonderful winter break but I am looking forward to our normal routine.

First Doll for 2011 - Little Golly

she is sitting with one of my whendis bears! she looks lovely sitting with her.

Wow that is really bad this is the first new doll completed for 2011 and it's now July, that's really bad!  I am happy with Little Golly, she is a lot smaller than normal and I have made her that way to sit with my bears, I have two show coming up in september so I have a lot of work to do, So i have already started!

Meet Rag Doll Annie

This is the first doll design for this year! Rag Doll Annie, I have done her for the Doll & Bear Show that I will be doing on the 3rd April this year Here in Brisbane well it is Ipswich really.  This is the first Doll & Bear Show for me So i am super excited.  I have another 3 dolls on my desk that I am working on so stay tuned! for more dolls.

Hello all,

It's almost time for school holidays again and I will be closing my website for the holidays! so I thought I would have a sale on all my Raggedy Annie dolls, So if you would to purchase one pop over and have a look at the prices and for all overs of $70.00 I will post free in australia and I will discount for all overseas orders I will do half price on postage!

The website will be closed on the 29th July so all order paid for will be posted the same day.

I will reopen with lots of new stock and patterns on the 14th July!

So I would love to clear all the old stock to make way for new dolls.

Update on Big Sis Little Sis Olive Annies

Well I was not really happy with these two Olive Annies so I put them to one side and when I looked at them again this morning I was still not happy so I have made some changes I am not sure about the hair colour Should it be raggedy red or dark red?  Please let me know what you think.  Overall I am really happy with them now.

New Olive Annie

This little doll well she is a little prim and little but raggedy and looks like a rag doll to.  I trying to do some different cloths and she is wearing a little shirt under her dress and she has really long bloomers.  My inspiration was my beautiful Bear from Whendis bears I was trying for shabby chic but prim and raggedy at the same time. She strands at 31cm tall 12"

Well it's been a while since I did a primitive style Raggedy, So today I thought I would play with and do some needle felting for hair on the doll and it looks amazing, this is a sweet meadows farm pattern, I love using these patterns.

This is what I have been working on, it seems to have taken me forever to get this far, (photo 2)I seemed to have lost something the last couple of weeks the desire to create I hope I find it again.

I wanted to share with you all some of my favourite patterns and who makes them.

I have purchased about 6 new patterns in the last couple of months (I have about 12 of maureens patterns) and Maureen from Sweet Meadows farm just keeps creating new ones and I just have to have them She is an amazing lady and I love all her creations.

This is another doll that will be listed on the chocolate crow trader on the 15th, I really love this doll and the way she turned out. I have used some new fabric on her dress it has vintage keys printed on the fabric. Let me know what you think.

Good morning,

I have been so very busy organising my new blog for Olive Grove Primitives organising my little sewing room, it is such a mess still but I should be able to start some dolls that was my goal.


I have missed making them so much - I got so busy with my shop I seemed to loose myself in the shop and it seemed to take on a life off itself and I seemed to have lost the whole reason for opening it in the first place handmade goods sewing and my cloth dolls. So now that the shop has closed down I seem to be on the right tack! I am going to work from home I also have a website to look after and 2 other blogs, one is my shop blog and the other one is to document the changing of our little cottage that we have been renovating for the last 5 years, it's slow going but wow it is looking good. My Wonderful husband is the only one to do the work most of the time as I have a slipped disc in my back I can't do a lot. Well I always supervise!


So I have done a couple of posts to list what dolls I have left hear at home, so I thought I should do a post, I am siting here trying to work out how I can get my name out there so people know I am around so if you have any Ideas for me, I would love some Ideas. One idea was to make a new doll and have a give away and get out there that way! I will keep thinking.
