New Olive Annie

This little doll well she is a little prim and little but raggedy and looks like a rag doll to.  I trying to do some different cloths and she is wearing a little shirt under her dress and she has really long bloomers.  My inspiration was my beautiful Bear from Whendis bears I was trying for shabby chic but prim and raggedy at the same time. She strands at 31cm tall 12"

Meet Big Sis Little Sis Olive Annies

Big Sis stands at 32cm 12.5" Little Sis Stands at 29cm 11.5"

I have been working on these Sisters for the last couple of days I will take some more photos I want a more primitive look to the photo but I was so pleased I wanted to share a couple of photo's tonight.

They have needle felted Noses and are a set of Prim Sisters

Sunday Bike riding

Well after 25 years of not riding a bike I just bought myself this beautiful bike and we have just come back from our first sunday bike ride with the family. So next sunday I will take some photo's and we are even going to stop and have a picnic lunch! The weather is just beautiful here at the moment we are in Autumn.

Woollen Doll Hair has Been added to the website and Meet Hettie Olive Annie

I know a couple of customers have been asking about the doll hair, I have added to the website now and I am waiting on more to arrive, As I order mine from oversea I thought I would just offer my customers the hair in case they can't get it anywhere else.

I have just finished a couple of pin cushion and they are also on the website I still have a couple more to list tomorrow!

Another doll finished I am hoping to have the new e-patterns on the website tonight!  that's if I go and get to working on them.

Little Stars and Stripes Olive Annie

This is the little one I have been working on for the last couple of days, she's a little more prim and dressed in stars and stripes, her bloomers have little stars all over. Her dress is red checked fabric with blue stripes on the bottom, I have neddle felted her nose she has raggedy red woollen hair, button eye's and hand painted legs and shoes. She stands at 30cm tall

I am finishing her pattern now and should be on the website by thurday hopefully in time for the specials this week if you would like an e-pattern.

I have had the most amazing 12 months with this blog I love all your wonderful comments I have made soom really wonderful friends and now 12 months latter I have a an etsy store, a website selling my dolls and now patterns and I also sell on the TCCT every month!

this has turned into a full time job for me as I stay at home looking after my youngest son.  What an amazing ride it has been!  I really love to create and I am doing something everyday either a doll a pattern a custom order which I also do a lot of!

I am looking forward to the next 12 months!

well this just arrived in the post and I can't wait to sit down with a coffee and read it and look at all the amazing pictures, I ordered my copy about 3 weeks ago and have been waiting.

E-patterns are ready

Hello I just wanted to let you all know the e-patterns are now ready so if you where waiting they have all been scanned!  This is the Doll I have just finished working on her Name is Freckle Face Olive Annie I just have to finish working on the pattern it should be ready in a couple of day and up on the website.  I would like to thank everyone who left wonderful comments it makes all the hard work worth it

Look what arrived in the mail today

About a week ago I bought this Beautiful Bear from Whendi's bears I have wanted one of her bears for so long.  When I poped over to whendi's blog to visit and seen that she had this beautiful Bear I wanted it but normally when I pop over to ebay it's always sold well this day it wasn't and it was a buy it now!! It was just meant to be, And now he is here all the way from US.

Firstly the website is up and running still a lot to do I have been working hard on it the last week, I am still waiting on some things to arrive for my cloth doll supplies.

I have 5 new patterns finished that I have been working on for a while and just waiting for the right time to release them I have a couple more on the go.

This month for the chocolate crow it is Mother Day/Raggedy Annies so you can see why I picked this month to release my patterns and open my new website.

I will have a new look to Olive Grove Blog, I thought it was about time for a fresh look just waiting for it to be installed which hopefully will be in the next couple of days, pop over to amy's website to see all her wonderful templates.  http://www.amybug.com/

In the last couple of weeks I have completed 10 dolls lots and lots of hours this month working on patterns I will also have e-patterns I am still converting them to pdf they should all be ready for friday this week!  they are on the website now for sale!

Etsy will also be updated on Friday I have some stock of dolls sitting here, they are not my patterns but still wonderful dolls.  I only have one doll left on etsy so I thought I should list some more!

You will notice that all my Cloth dolls finish with the name Olive Annie! I think it just fits

both of the above annies will be on the TCCT this month they are not my patterns they are sweet meadows farm!

I have been so busy the last couple of weeks catching up on orders! working on items for the chocolate crow due on the 7th April, a New Website that is no up and running just yet but soon I hope!

And at long last some of my own patterns that I have been working on since december last year, I wanted them finished in time for the TCCT as this month is Mother day Raggedy Annies So I will have paper patterns and also e-patterns, I have been asked for so long do I have my own patterns so i thought it was about time.
